If I were you, I'd try that plasti dip stuff. Paint the whole emblem, then trace around the ford letters and the chrome outline with an exacto knife real lightly then see if you can pull the excess off. I know Lance(StrokeOfLuck) did this and made the outside ring black with the inner part just blue with the chrome lettering. May or may not work, but on the videos on youtube I'd think it would with a steady hand.
