damage to custom built y pipe

also found some thrust play in the charger.
i found a kit,having it overnighted so when i pull it apart tomorrow i can re bearing it.

i feel it to be a stupid move to just blow it up.

damn that back pressure blew out the up pipes and damaged the thrust bearing too?

theres alittle play. nothing damaging yet.

idk if the housing is 70 or 76? but yes 64/71. we actually estimated the drive pressure at 90psi,boost was around 45-47psi.

factory ebp was maxed at 52psi. thats including atmo.

housing is non gated. this pipe is pretty cool looking with the gate on it.

Cool man well the gate will be your solution. Might as well rebuild the thrust its cheap assurance for sure. Time for a drive pressure gauge!

Looking forward to seeing pics of the setup. The gate venting to the atmosphere shouldnt make a mess Where are you dumping it? Underneath the truck?

i decided im running it to the downpipe. my warehouse has the vbands i need.
my lady going to get them.

minor setback. ran out of straight argon last night.
i will be welding everything up today around 5,and will snap some pictures.
