DEF message

I have a 2012 f-350 dually with a little over 5k on her and started the truck up this morning to the DEF tank has 500 miles left till empty......With only 5k on the truck should I already be getting this message?

The def is supposed to be good for an oil change which is 5000 miles. Fill it when you change the oil.

I went 6,400mi first fill and made 7000mi second time around. Guessing you may haul loads with your 350, 5500mi is good imo.

Must not have come with a full DEF tank. Filling it is easier than it seems.

I was getting around 7k at first now the trucks got 50k on it seems like its every 5k or less its already out delete time :clapping:

I don't think it was full either took both bottles to fill....I think the hardest part was finding a nossle to use to fill the tank. Ford dealership gave me one so it worked out.
