Ok. So if the DPF is deleted then I assume its tuned. We had a 6.4 that came in the shop for over filled crankcase with no tune. The truck would go I to regen everytime its driven. We added a DPF. Since the old one was gutted. And fixed it.

If the DPF is missing with no delete tuning it will go into a constant regen mode, so all the fuel used for cleaning the filler would just seep into the crankcase and dilute the oil. That also could have been fixed by adding the delete tuner and a filter/oil change.

^^ yes we told customer that having no DPF will cause a frequent regen. As a dealership we cannot tell people to tune there trucks. And it was a work truck (fleet)

Ahhh, your a dealer tech. Yeah I can see how that would be frowned upon.

Well we were able to command higher rail pressure at idle with his scan tool and non of the lines or any fitting under the valve cover were leaking so guess I'm going with a new hpfp. Can someone tell me if the pump from sunrise ford comes with everything needed to install the pump?

A pump from any ford dealer will be the same as the next other than the price, it will just be the pump. You're just swapping one for the other, you should just go ahead and replace the HPFP harness/gasket and both pump to rail lines while your at it.
