Hated the FC II's I had on my rig. Balance wasn't too bad, they were 33x12.5x17's, they wore absolutely horrible. They were bald in no time. Did a burnout or two towards the end and it took no time at all before chords were showing. I would never buy another set of these tires. Pro-Comp's tires have been the best for me and a few of my buddies. Specifically the extreme A/T. One of the best A/T's I've ever used. Using BFG A/T's right now, not a huge fan of these either. Going back to Pro-Comp I think.

I still cant figure how you balded a set of MT's in 26k...

I hear two different stories on these. People are either wearing them out in twenty thousand or they are lasting claimed mileage that is not even believable.

Id try a set, given the opportunity.

Extreme all terrain or xterrain?

Im interested in the extreme all terrain they offer.

Mine were the A/T I kept one as a spare and I bet if it had to I could put another 5k on it

I like that news! I am pretty convinced Ill run the extreme all terrain. I have fixed my gaze on the general grabber at/2's though also. They look to be a great tire as well.

Problem Im having is not alot of sizes are available for 22" wheels.:wtf:

These look pretty decent dont they?

My tire guy said that he wouldnt sell anyone a general tire. I dont know why but he said not to get them.... i absolutly love my michelen ltx at2's. Its not aggressive by no means but they do good in snow and dirt and what i had on my truck when my spider gears blew out hooked to the sled... i dont go off road much so i dont know how they would do in the mud but if you want an at tire then you wouldnt be in the mud much anyway..oh yeah and they have a 60,000 mile warranty on tread. Not that it means you can burn them off but they are nice.

Twice!

I had a set on each of our pickups and mine wore out in 18K and I had to replace them due to snow otherwise I might have gotten 20K out of them. These were on the wife's pickup and one was completely bald and the tire with the most tread left had 2/32 - all with 25K on them.

The only thing I can think of is the size?

I ran a set of Toyo AT's in a 355-85-17 for a while and after 18k they were bald, I made LS credit 50% back on my account... But there are people running that same tire for 50-60k without issue so I would have to guess it was a size issue?

I'm not BSing when I say I get an average of 50k out of each set of these 37's...

Cuz the tire guy doesnt get incentive from his warehouse to sell them? I have had three sets of michelin ltx at's. My 2011 dmax has a new set on it. They are ok. But they arent for my super duty. The procomp all terrain(regular version) kinda resemble the general grabber at2. I do go in dirt and mud more than anything, I do live in IL, but snow is my reasoning. Oversive tires, especially MT's dont stop worth a darn in snow. At's do.

Which tires? Toyo MT's? Im calling bs on that one.

No, just lots of heavy towing... Even LS was suprised. Went back to MT's and more then likely will never change again.

Oh, I see that you said AT's. I can see them wearing out that fast. My 2011 dmax had firestone transforces on it and they got 22k out of them pulling my tandem axle 14k lb trailer everyday. Put michelins on cuz I had them on my 07 dmax and they lasted pretty good.

Had a set of Dc mud countrys a few years ago in a 35 and no one could get them to balance right and they took a lot of weight. They wore very bad also so I sold them and never touched a dc tire again. Sold them to a friend and they shook so bad on his truck the fender started coming loose and shaking also. Love my toyos,I see why every one raves about them.

My '01 had 305/r16 FC IIs when I got it with ~half tread and they worked great except in slow speed, heavy clay mud driving then they would ball up. I put 10-12k on them before I took out a sidewall. One of them had 6 patches in it by the time I was done digging a new pit at the junkyard and it would balance out fine. They were quiet on the road but cost way too much for my taste.

TTT...

Quick update, after 8K miles on them they have been completely as advertised. Minimal wear, good in the snow and icy roads, acceptable in our kind of mud, and very stable when towing. All the weights are still on them and they are smooth as the day we put them on. Good stuff so far!
