He prolly has a special pair of bedazzled jeans with a protective coating of fairy dust for when he's in the shop

Alright I would like to make this public now....

I/nor the truck will be making it to DPC 2013. We have spoke with DP and if everything I have heard from them is correct, Wesley Beach will be taking our spot.

I don't feel right rushing to get the truck ready when there are other guys out there prepared and ready with proven setups. We are working on something a little less "proven" and it would be a let down to the ford camp if we went and broke something major, I would much rather do the braking here close to home and then begin to go out of state with it.
There are a lot of pieces to fall into place for a build like this and some of them have taken MUCH longer than anticipated, unfortunately some of the pieces are even out of our control.

The triple turbo'd 7.3 will definitely be up and running sometime early summer, it will most definitely be out there competing, and it will certainly be entered again next year. So nothing has changed other than we no longer will make it to Denver in May.

After talking with Wayne, it sounds like Wesley's truck is ready to tear it up and should be a heavy competitor, which is what we need. Not somebody with a lot of money/time invested but no real results yet.

Thank you everyone for your votes, it really does mean a lot that your still willing to give the OBS a shot at this sort of thing. Keep your eyes peeled as we will eventually start a thread to dialog the entire build and results once its running!

That is pretty damned "stand up" of you... Get the Ford camp the best, proven (or at least more proven...) chance that we can get. My hat's off to you, and good luck with the 3 wheeled 7.3! I'll def be following that build.

I was interested in seeing that OBS compete. Proven set up when going at it seems to be the ticket.
Beech should put down some good numbers, be interesting seeing how the stock lp works with that wet up.

I think he should ditch the stock hp now and go with a 62.
