Awesome video!!!!

Had a customer use the rx plugs. 4 outta 8 touched the pistons. Made it very interesting to say the least. Nothing but motorcraft here.
sent from the shop making things fly.....

For what its worth I just did gp's this past summer. Passenger bank was all Berut/MC, and drivers bank was all Diesel RX (assuming PO only replaced the drivers bank). All four Berut came out without issue, and two of four Diesel RX had the body thread out leaving the probe in the head. Managed to get the probes out with a slide hammer welded to needle nose vice grips and a lot of kroil, but it was a nerve-wracking couple days.
Won't touch anything but MC personally.

^These two comments seem worrisome though

doesn't matter..
I changed the sticks in mine Saturday..
And I knew I had used Beru/MC when I had replaced them a couple years ago.
I had two stuck in the right bank.. something crudded up somewhere.. I got them out without much fuss, but a WHOLE LOTTA pucker factor..

Made me think twice about putting them back in, but I was stranded at the house.. so in they went.

Your truck make a lot of black smoke? I'm thinking carbon buildup.

I have had pretty good luck with the dieselRx in 7.3 psd's. But I installed a set in a 6.9 IDI all 8 burnt out in 1 week and 3 of them took some creative measures to remove.

The original motorcraft glow plugs were made in Germany. Since about mid 01 they come from Ireland. The German ones were better.

Nope, still made in Germany...

They must be coming back with them, that's good because the Irish made parts weren't as good.

mine are well seasoned for 340,000 miles ;)

Im actually just condidering putting new HG's in as preventative measure

WTF are you thinking?

What benifit would taking a sealed HG out to put a fresh one in give you? With 340k on it, keep driving the damn thing and start building a replacement.
