I just saw a good write up on doing this. It was on a rice burner forum, but the principals are the same.
Has anyone done this and if so, did it help.
Surge is always a concern, and to the extent I can, I "drive around it" , but to abate it, or as much of it as possible is obviously desirable. I don't mind doing it to save 425 bucks
