It is still pretty soft. You can take your fingernail and push it into it.

Had my cousin spray Al's Bed-liner in mine over
a year ago. Awesome stuff and very durable. Being a
carpenter and carrying all my chitt in the bed it has
proven itself over and over. Had him spray the rails
because sometimes like now I put on a camper shell.
Holds up better than most.
