The list mentions hp ratings. I know i should upgrade to the DPC converter, but i can afford the bones for the the stage 1 plus converter. I would also like to get the stage 2, which claims good to i believe 500 hp, but cant afford to do so if i opt for the DPC converter.

My champion built trans with suncoast parts and a new stock converter is still holding just fine at my power level. And im not exactly easy on it either.

Pizza pig, my tapatalk wont allow me to see your mod list if you have one in your sig. Can you tell me what kind of power you are getting to the rear wheel? Also, how many miles do you have on your trans mentioned above?

Im putting together prices on elite diesels HD rebuild kits and input shafts. With a stallion torque converter, i can rebuild my transmission myself to elite's specs for about 1k cheaper. So my questions is, how hard is it to really rebuild the 5r? Im willing to do this because i want the knowledge of how this transmission works and ticks. If all else fails i could take it to a reputable local shop, but i would do it myself. Or even if there is a local member who has expirience who wants to come by and give some pointers.
