So what's the best DPF ON tuning?

Which has a better exhaust brake? Tuned and deleted '12 or a tuned and deleted '16 ('15)
This. Need to be able to tell the truck what to do.... and have it listen.Well when I could've won the race. And the trucks brain screws that up. Things change lol.

:lookaround: Sooo, got any input on a :ford: exhaust brake?I've never driven a dodge, but I think the 11-14 "exhaust brake" is a joke compared to the duramax I've driven for work.
That is my input...... 11-14 exhaust brake is a joke..... I guess I worded that poorly.

I find it a little lacking, but have little frame of reference. Can one upgrade the turbo on a 11-14 and get better exhaust braking or is that all in the tuning and not avail?
Only reason for me to upgrade is to haul the toyhauler better, it goes up the hills just fine, down it can overrun.
FYI: finally got pricing on the '16, they want $62,600 for it and will only give me $40k for mine. For $22k I think I'll be keeping my '12 for a while longer. Though it just blew it's radiator and though this is a design defect, Ford will not stand behind it
that is exactly how my work truck is ty! 2012 rclb tamponDuramax exhaust brskes ate better than the other two. Id say fords in last place there. My dad has a 15 and its mediocre to shttiy on how it operates. I usually manualky downshift his to 5th and then it grabs if you are in tow/haul. The dmax, you start it, tap the tow/haul and drive if you let off the pedal it'll use the vanes to slow down. If you give it brake input it'll slam the vanes shut and downshift to slow the truck until you cease brake input. Then it'll hold speed waiting for throttle or brake input. +1 duramax.
uncomfortable as ***...Truck kinda sucks but trans and exhaust brake is dialed in...
