mine does it, not quite to that extent but it also still has a 242k mile set of factory injectors..... only does it when it gets down under 25* though...

I assume I'll have my ass ragged for suggesting this, but is it just stiction? I knew a guy with an 03' 6.0l that did that on start up, but with more smoke. He was running Amsoil on 10,000 mile change intervals, yes 10,000 mile intervals, and his was runnin' like sh*t (big surprise). I got him to drain it and change to Rotella T6 5w-40 and add some Hot Shots Secret. It slowly started to clear up and after a second oil change (at 3500 miles) and another dose of HSS it starts and runs normal again. I do however believe his injectors aren't long for this world since he decided to go back to Amsoil and 10,000-12,000 mile change intervals.

Mine did too, until I put new batteries in it. New batteries and a good working FICM do wonders in cold weather. I went to a FICM with older programming on it too, and my one sticky injector I had disappeared as well.

its alot more common than I thought it was I guess. Not really worried about it just was wondering. My ficm is a innovative moderate one and holds 48volts.

I have almost $400 into both brand new batteries they were brand new like 4 days ago or so i have tested the ficm many times over the last year. Its just on that tune when it lopes but i wish it wouldnt hase smoke at idle... Hopfully rev x fixes the smoke.
