I don't think any of us have it happen at 70 degrees though... but most people replying in the thread are running stock sticks too.

Mine will not puff any smoke until it sits all night long and the temp in the morning is below 30*

Only time mine has done anything like that is when its sat overnight in single digit temps, I wouldn't be overly worried about it if everything smooths out and the truck runs fine, but I would be curious as to how bad it would start if it actually saw some cold temps.

I've recently cranked my truck at 22* after sitting for 5 days (EOT and EOT both at 22*) and it sounds nothing like that. I'll say it again, it sounds like stiction. Whats the harm in pouring some HSS or Rev-X in it?

How big are the injecors? It seems like its oil related to me whether its in the tuning or you have a leak or possible failing hpop. Have you got a reading of the hpop since adding the injectors. It seem s the icp is spiking from something causing it is my guess either. Bad icp or ipr also maybe.

How old are the batteries in that thing? Talk about a slow crank:poke:

Mine used to do that. Put fresh batteries in it problem solved

285s. Can't remember that truck hasn't ran in a while. It's over 500psi tho.

Battries are about a year old.

My truck will do it if it isn't plugged in and with 15w40. I usually change to 5w40 over the winter but, haven't done so yet. I have new batteries, ficm, too.

Yeah stroke that is what mine does at those temps. I don't consider that a romp myself and nothing close to the op's truck. I think thats the norm with colder temps.

Mine romps about twice then smooths out to 900 rpms or so when its real cold, then the rpms drop down til high idle kicks on. This is with Matts tuning...I'm a little surprised its doing it with new injectors.
