so i put 3/8" clear vinyl in today just the drivers side then i realized that it helped a little. but there is still a gap, so i was wondering if there was any way to adjust the latch on the suicide door so make it close tighter?

On mine the drives side lower latch wasn't catching at all! Had to take the door apart, dropped it in the parts cleaner for a few and it came out like new. Lotsa air to dry it out amsoil waterproof lube it's catching and working great. Check the lower latch they are prone on the x-cab to catch dirt and grim.

Tubing idea is awesome I'm doing that soon!!

The right side front door on.mine doesn't seal right. Even used 3/" air brake hose. You can still see a bit ofdaylight. 12 years of the same effin cab design.....and they can't get super cabs right!

Supercabs are also known to have the welds brake on the rear doors. Check very closely where the screw is in this picture for a broken spot weld.

I was able to save my mechanism, just took it apart and cleaned it real good, it was caked with mud and junk. Works great now.

yes that weld is broken. what kind of screw did you use?

Sorry I didn't see this sooner, just clamp the door shells back together carefully, it doesn't take that much pressure. Drill the spot weld out when it is lined back up with the outer shell it ripped out of. Then that screw is just a 1/4"-20 stainless phillips head, with a washer & nylock nut on the inside.
