OK...with the load in my sig, using TH, what is the best/preferred method to use to force a downshift when EGTs start to get into the danger zone. This is a serious question.
Not really sure on this one. I know when I was hauling our 44' enclosed car hauler with our 2007 F-350 auto I did everything I could think of to keep it from down shifting on hills.
Who writes your tunes for your Ex ??? I had Matt at Gearhead re-write my tow tune a couple different times to get keep it from down shifting so easily. Call your tuner and get him to change the shift strategy.
i have yet to get in the danger zone with matts tunes grossing out at 25000, it runs so much cooler and still has the power unlike tony's. i would say tuning with ****ing and temps
