I have tried to contact Dozers about the fuel system I ordered by both phone calls and PM's, but I have not had a response by either in the past 4 days, so I figured they might respond if its more public.
Is anyone else not happy with their fuel system? I ordered a stage 3 race fuel system. Cost was 604.99 and I ordered an A1000 fuel pump cost was around $330. When I ordered, I called in and told them what I needed, I paid for it, and about a week later I received my "fuel system". It consisted of only the lines that go on top of the engine. So the feed lines and the return lines and all of the fittings going ino the heads. I didnt receive a regulator, a fuel pump, the line coming up to the engine from the fuel pump, the return line that comes off of the regulator and goes to the stock return line, or the oil filter housing with the bowl delete, along with some misc fittings.
I initially thought the rest of the stuff might be coming the next day at the latest, so I wasnt too worried about it. 4 days later, i still hadnt received the rest of the parts, so I called and told them what the problem was and said I was still missing a few things. They apologized and said the rest of the stuff would be shipped out the next day. So a couple days later a received a couple boxes and didnt bother to open it right away since I figured the rest of the fuel system was in it. I opened them last wednesday to put them on my truck, and found there was only the fuel pump, regulator, and feed line coming from the pump up to the engine. The pump and regulator were as expected, but the feed line is only 3/8" insided diameter, but has a 4800psi rating. I was expecting it to just be a size 10 push loc hose, since this is what I was told it would be when I ordered it. Why in the fock would I need 4800psi hose for a 65psi system that is only 3/8"? I might as well just keep the stock feed line.
Keep in mind I still have not received the return line that comes off of the regulator and goes to the stock return line, or the oil filter housing with the bowl delete, along with some misc fittings.
Before I decided to get Dozers fuel system, I read so many good things, I didnt think I would have any problems installing it, but its hard to install it when you dont receive all the parts, and there isnt any customer service. Im sure there are plenty of you guys out there that have ordered their fuel system and are more than happy with it, which is what i expected, but now Dozer's Diesel is just another shady buisness in my book.
