If anyone has any specific questions about our chips or tunes, I would be happy to help you out. You can contact me on here via PM, through e-mail, or even give me a call.

To clear a couple things up I see posted in here... The new F6 is open source so anyone can tune on it. The F5 can still only be tuned by us.

Also, as far as TS chips go... We do reburn them with our tunes. We just do not e-mail tunes for them. You can check out the TS reburn options here... http://www.dp-tuner.com/ford-powers...tuning/chip-switches-misc/ts-chip-reburn.html

So with a f6 guys like g Ear head can email me tunes and I can load them up??

Does this work for the older F6 chips??

I have the Hydra and it was a step up from the TS 6 pos.I got it from diesel power products for $400 with the ghead custom tuning with lifetime changes.Think the price has gone up now but there's more available like the diamond t switcher or Cyclops switcher for Android devices if you run Torque pro it's cool to have everything at your fingertips on one screen

its open source with dp BUT no one tunes for them or even wants to. Ive tried a handful of tunes from almost everyone. Hydra is the only way to go, then try other tuners. Keep in mind on big modded trucks, tunes are not going to be perfect unless you help data log and revise tunes.

If the truck is stock and will continue to be do a ts or dp. If anything more do hydra. IMO having tunes from several sources is king. We all know some tuners make more power but smokiest while others pride themselves to be not. Also everything inbetween from here to the moon. That flex ability and ease of change was what made my mind up.it was a no brainier for me.

Yes, anyone can write tunes for the F6 V2. The older, original F6 can only hold our tunes.

So standard TS style tune format will work?
There seems to be confusion on what "open" truely means here.

The TS tunes are a different file format than tunes for the F6 (224k vs. 256k).

Any 256k tune can work on the F6 V2. Not just the tunes we write.

The hydra is truly 'open'
Anyone who chooses to tune for it, can. There is no regulation by us.

The hydra will accept all 224k (TS style) binary as well as 256K (quarterhorse / hydra )

We even open source the software needed to encrypt the binary to a particular chip to help the security of the tunes people write.

Let me know if I can be of any further assistance! :)

....and just to add to what Jay says......

No, Bill (nor anyone at PHP) cannot see the tuning that is put on your unique serial-numbered chip with the Hydraflash program. That information is NOT sent to his server.
