That's what's posted on DP website.....

His three runs

Run 1: 900.4 HP / 1298.8 LB/FT
Run 2: 891 HP / 1255.3 LB/FT
Run 3: 869.3 HP / 1226.5 LB/FT

Now quick question, Chase only made two pulls cause he is currently in the lead.....if someone beats him, can he go back and do his third pull later?

That looks like a torque number where the power was kept low at lower RPMs to keep the engine alive. Its the same basic tuning principle to keep any of these engines alive at high power numbers and say stock bottom ends - keep the power out of the lower RPMs (high torque situations).

Right on 1600 obviously wont be beat by a ford today, but the duramax is going to have to keep it all together to win the competition. If that motor stays together and the transmission holds it, probably not going to be much we can do to beat it.

So lets start hoping for failures??

True story, but I cant think there going to run like that the whole event. Maybe they were just letting it all hang out for the dyno.

I just hope Aaron and Erik don't try too hard on dyno.. I know that sounds pretty stupid but don't waste everything you got there, put it to the ground in the other events
