ok yesterday i was doing some more diagnosing and i noticed something....it gets worse the longer i drive it.....decided it could very well be the front brakes...took the tires off again and decided to pull the rotors....the outside looked and felt perfect....the inside however had hot spots on it again....the fronts are warped on the inside only....weird considering these are ART cryo'd rotors and not that old....im guessing since last fall (about 4k miles ago) when i had to have them turned because my front calipers stuck closed and warped them the overheating of the rotors caused them to warp again real fast....new rotors and pads and its back to normal.....guess these high dollar rotors arent really worth it..... anyway thanks for all the suggestions....only had about 7k miles on the rotors total considering i only drive it about 4-5k miles a year.....

At least you figured it out, I guess those rotors are not that great
Are you going to call and ask them about warping so quick?
Did you put stock rotors back on?

Over heating metal can weaken it. I would guess that rotors are no exception. Maybe they where permenantly damaged when the calipers stuck. Are you sure they weren't turned past tolerance?

the more I got reading this thread, the less convinced I was it was driveline.. especially since I wen't back and re-read one of the page 1 posts..

glad you got it figured out for a hell of a lot less $$$ than we were afraid..

FWIW, I've had the best luck with those polymer coated rotors that NAPA sells..
everything else lasted about a year on my truck, these are going on three..
