Drum brake question

did you replace the adjuster cable too? i didnt when i did mine one side wasnt doing anything because it wasnt adjusting at all so it roasted the other

The little cable that goes from the anchor pin to the adjusting arm.

yes, srw trucks have the 3 inch shoes drw trucks have the 3 and 1/4 shoes. i would get to the cable sooner rather than later i had to replace the shoes after about 10k with them not adjusting properly. i manually adjusted them a time or two

Yeah I will get them right away. My old ones were rusted pretty bad. I had to brake them loose and grease the crap out of them.

LOL i could watch it for hours the adjuster themselves were less than 10 bucks each if there shot replace them too. may as well do it all in one shot

I get stuck watching it all the time. Lol!! Yeah I'll get all the stuff and take care of it this weekend. As of now I'm going to BBQ some grub for the family.

Well i just picked up my adjuster kit. I got it from oreilly's. It was about 8 bucks a side. I will be fixing them tomorrow. Should i post up pics? Also when i adjust them i want a slight drag on the drums right?
