I remember reading in the thread about Elite's 2.6 puller that they were building that truck with belt driven LPOP and a dry sump IIRC
We deleted the factory LPOP, and the auxiliary sump was the only thing supplying low pressure oil. It's rated to comfortably supply enough oil to the engine, but we weren't comfortable with the pressures. It's getting ready to come back in for another LPOP. There's enough money in the engine that we're not taking any chances.
I wish someone with lots of time and money would run a dieselsite adrenaline pump and start with 205 conventionals and keep going bigger to see at what size injectors the icp starts falling off.

That's what i use as my primary pump 225's max 205's seemed to run better.
With 400cc hybrids and a single pump my icp gauge maxes to 2500psi. With our twin pump kit it pegs the gauge out on the start pin. Power gain is crazy.
We've got the billet HO in the puller, it seems fairly happy with the 300 hybrids, the 275/150s it started with was pushing it..
Good to know information. From the limited reviews/responses that I've heard about with the Adrenaline HO HPOP, it seems the best way to run large bodied injectors is with a dual HPOP setup.
Sonic, I presume your "275/150s" were hybrids and not conventionals right??

Personally, I like that it uses just a longer serpentine belt rather than a separate belt. It looks to me like the CAC tube and AC line from a later truck would fit, but what do I know.
The other thing a person could do would be to modify a secondary alternator system to run a second HPOP off the belt for the second alternator, but then you have two belts to worry about.
