Dumbass needs help

Attempting to change my fuel filter today. And when I was attempting to remove the DFCM housing with a 32 mm socket, the plastic snapped. Now I have a broken filter bowl stuck on there. Anybody have any thoughts on how to get this off?

And secondly, can I just run the Fuel lab water/air seperator system or do I need to find a new housing?

Yup. $60 later but got it all fixed up then made a spur of the moment trip to Texas.
