Not quite sure yet, gonna work on getting the emissions stuff removed first.

Definitely! Well you should enjoy it. We just recently got our new to us 6.4 and we love it! Currently getting the Elite tow power compounds and studs. With a good tune should land about 650-680hp @ sea level. Were excited. Keep us updated on the build. Lots of great support here to steer you in the right direction. By the looks of the duramax, this will be exciting to see.

Hey everyone, little update since I haven't posted on here in quite a few months. I still own the 6.4L, but still haven't done anything with it. I moved across the country with my fiancé so I was saving for the move instead of putting parts into the truck. It surprisingly made 40hrs of driving and didn't miss a beat - I was quite proud of the ol girl. Even my fiancés 6.0 made it towing a trailer (I was doubting both trucks, mine more so than his though).
Anyways, the truck is now second priority (new snowmobiles are #1) as today when I got to work it showed "Stop Safely Now" and shut itself off.. I cursed the **** out of it and was regretting selling my LMM. SOOO I'll be removing my DPF tonight after work... Finally.

Planning on going with a Flo-Pro no muffler downpipe back exhaust & the Minimaxx.

Save the $$ and get a no limit setup in the near future. Night and day difference with a stock truck with some intercooler piping upgrades. let me know if you need anything, have programmers instock (sct's, mini's, xrt's.), no limit products, and various other parts available.

Hey thanks, I actually work at Supreme Diesel so I'd be sourcing parts through them.

that sucks, my turbos are still working, no loss of power or any leaks/drips or anything - just the stupid dpf is clogged. cant wait to get it off for good

I didn't have any leaks or loss of power either. It was a sour deal. Pull the dpf off and pressure wash it.. Sounds dumb, That'll get you a little more miles out of it until you can get it deleted.

Turns out it just needed a good pedal to the floor... I drive it like a grandma apparently  - Anyways, scan tool said my DPF was all clean after that.

An update on my 6.4l journey for anyone interested. Truck has no heat and in -27c it's ass snapin' cold while driving my truck - changing the t-stats either tomorrow or next week. Will post pics if I can.
Then in Dec the DPF and EGR are coming off, Flo-Pro, egr delete and Minimaxx are going on.

OHHH I am. It has no heat and I've flushed the coolant system, and heater core enough times for it to be good. No coolant and oil have mixed so I'm glad that's still working OK. It still smokes like a b**** when it gets to temp, been doing it for a few weeks now before it got super cold here.
Typically when it gets to temp, no engine light or any loss of power (It is gutless to begin with anyways). Threw some codes last week and it was the DPF sensors. :lame:

The whole truck makes me want to go back to the Duramax world... (Sorry I know.. bad word in here) BUT I have faith in ole' Harley.
