Dyno Numbers

Well i finally got my truck on the rollers a couple weeks back and was kinda dissappointed.. with the mods in my sig the Truck made 451 consistently over 3 pulls.. boost was only about 26psi... im used to seeing over 30+ on that same tune... granted it was on an unloaded dyno... hopefully i can get closer to 500 on a loaded dyno.. what other mods should i do to get to 550-600hp range

I would get bigger injectors probably 190s and nitrous

Thats really not a bad number on stock sticks and 35 inch tire.

i don't know how the hell you got 450 on stock sticks...highest I've ever heard was 425-430. i'm not hatin but you must have a freak truck or a pretty loose dyno.

you shouldn't even be close to 500 on stock sticks....you'll need a minimum of 175cc injectors to get there.

That's very good numbers, we have dynoed several with stock sticks in that power range. Nice looking truck.

Thanks.. From what I was reading I was thinkin more like 480 but for what I've done can't complain too much

On stock injectors you should be very happy. You must be new to the whole 6L game. Aren't u. Spent a couple bucks on a pos power max and a couple mods and you expected out 500hp.


Before you upgrade your injectors. Do you tow much. What exactly is your truck used for

Not really new no.. just first time on the dyno and wasnt sure what to expect... i do tow occasionally but mostly just my daily driver so i need it to still be towable .. i was thinkin 175s would be my best bet

Not sure why every one is so concerned with dyno numbers...if you want to know if your money is well spent just take it to the track.:thumbup:

As far as numbers go i know if you go powermax with 190s youll be sitting around 550 to the rear wheels, one of my buddies hit right under 550 through 38s with that set up...BUT if you tow a lot i wouldnt go with 190s, stick with 155s and your pmax

With just tunes, intake and exhaust we have done 410. So that seems like a good number with more air/less boost.

You really need to hit a loaded dyno.

Those are some awesome numbers for basically just a tune...hard to imagine bcs idp's hottest tune supposedly gets 420 through stock tires

You ever run any other tunes besides truck source? How do you like them probably pretty good judging on those dyno numbers right? Was that the super panties or whatever you dynoed? what was tq?

Back in 07 my 6.0 dynoed 45X went a 13.48 at 99.5 with an IDP Race file,03 turbo,and AirAid intake...F350 4x4 srw,cc,sb...

Yeah Im running the super panty dropper!! Yeah the truck runs great in it and gets 17mpg's with 35's and it was 448 and 787.
