Hmmmm...the OBS Race kit (with Fuelab pump) should have had a length of black 5/16" fuel line and 2 clamps for the return. That might have been a screw-up on our part if you didn't get it, I will need your last name to look up the order and see what was billed.

yep dennis, no 5/16 hose at all, I got one longer piece of 3/8 and another shorter piece of 3/8.
I ordered more 3/8 and 2 fittings and you shipped them out today, order number 44521 should give you what you need, last name is same, might have had a different shipping address though, its been a while since I ordered it.
no big deal dennis

Let me get this straight before I start my e fuel. .. So the line comming off the selector switch (to the motor) that's where you cut the line and put inlet side of the electric pump? Then outlet up to the motor?

Sort of.....

- From the selector switch outlet to the inlet of the pre-filter.
- From the pre-filter outlet to the inlet of the fuel pump.
- From the pump outlet to the inlet of the post filter.
- From the post filter outlet to the metal feed tube where you originally cut the hose by the selector valve in the first step.

And just hosse clamps will hold the pressure in place? For security purposes could you use a compression fitting with a hose barb on it?

When you remove the rubber hose off the metal supply tube, there is a swag on it. You can see the swag on the upper tube (return) at the end of the rubber hose. I slid the hose over the swag and clamped before and aft. The clamp at the end of the hose was used to close the end of the hose. I ran 90 lbs of fuel pressure and it held fine.

Plus, how many fuel injected cars have rubber/hose clamped lines coming out of the sending units with in tank pumps.

For a test, swag a piece of tubing and hose clamp a hose to it. Now try and pull it off. You'll wind up tearing the hose before it lets go.
