Drop by a good transmission shop, garage, or Ford dealer. They can pull codes for you.
In the long run it will be cheaper than tossing parts at it.

I had this problem and asked questions on a different forum several years back. I tried fixing without knowing the codes so I changed my dear diff fluid checked the sensor first. Then replaced TPS. Next checked EBP sensor, tube was clogged and sensor was bad so I replaced. Mi e would happen so randomly I thought it was fixed but then it would happen again weeks later. Finally had the codes read and it had to do the idle validation. So I replaced the whole accelerator assembly and have been trouble free for two years plus.
