I could have talked you into buying all the stuff I have to convert yours to 99.5 and then Id have goaded you into a 38r too...

I cant imagine being happier with mine. Ive had some pretty cool chargers on cars but this 38r is fun for some reason. Im not saying another charger in front of it isnt a possibility but that'll be a while.

Nope never taken it off, not sure which exhaust outlet it has on it. All I know is that its a early 99 van turbo

Hmm, since it has the ebpv, you may not need the adapter. My housing didn't have that.

Measure the outside diameter of the outlet, and I will measure my old .84 truck housing in the morning. If they are the same, then you won't need to buy an adapter.

I have the 1.0 non gated housing on my stock turbo, and I needed the adapter. I guess I assumed that all non gated housings needed them.

I don't know why there would be two styles of van exhaust housings though, so why would some people need adapters, and some not?

An early 99 may be its own animal though. The picture of the early 99 D66 on beans site has the adapter on it though, if its the correct picture. Even if you don't need it, I think I would delete that ebpv, and the adapter is an extremely clean way to do it.

I have a ebpv on mine, so I probably won't need one then right? Id hate to have another hundred into a stock turbo

Show me where you would find a cheaper replacement turbo than what you have. You spent what, 200 bucks on that turbo? Another 100 dollars isn't gonna kill you. Your turbo is shot anyway, so you had to spend it one way or another.
