Does the exhaust back pressure sensor /and tube coming off the exh. manifold have ANY other function other than controlling the EBPR ?

In other words,
I removed my EBPR ..... so can I just plug the port on the exhaust manifold?

or just leave the sensor/tube etc. ?

Yes, it controls some fueling tables, and I think some other things. With that said, I ran without one for some time and had no issues.

You could also take the sensor and put inline with MAP sensor too. In this way you’d still have a variable pressure to the sensor.

A decent tune will allow you to not use the ebp sensor at all.

Why would you want to watch exhaust back pressure?
