Remember some of us are making power. When i put the fuel to it my phone would be out the back window.

Lol I see what you're saying I just like how my scangauge is mounted and not having to use my phone.

Not sure what your getting at here... I've made power... Maybe not big dog power, but 560hp is pretty good out of a tired old 7.3.

As to the Scan gauge, I had one for 7 years. Its a great little set up, but why pay $250+ bucks for a scan gauge plus a mount, that is a pain to move from one rig to another (if you do that kind of thing to help people and such) when you can pick up this for less then $30...

I have a nice mount for my phone that holds it right in my line of site, I always have my phone, and even have a spare phone with TQ loaded in it.

Sold my scan gauge for $20 IIRC...

Just messing with ya. I guess a nice phone mount would help everything out. I have my scangauge on the steering column and it's just on Velcro so it doesn't take any time to take off. I really just like not having to use my phone, I use it for enough as is. Maybe if I tried one again I'd change my mind. My scangauge was only 160 at AutoZone btw.

Uhm, Joe, where do I get that TQ thing. Is it stand alone, or do I have to have ISSPro gauges?

Google Play Store. App is called Torque Pro. You will also need a Bluetooth OBDII adapter. Once you download the app, download the Ford specific PIDs through the app.

BTW, this app is only available for Android.

On edit: With my 7.3 it wouldn't read all the DTCs. I would scan with the app and it would show nothing when I knew I had codes. Had to plug my SCT in to read and clear them. Oh, and don't scan for codes with the truck running. It will shut it down. Accidentally hit the wrong button once and found that out. Good thing I hadn't started moving yet.

Reason I like gauges or insight over torque:
My insight doesn't ring
I can watch PIDs while on a phone call
I hate androids, had one and it ruined it for me. My mother has a new one. Still junk. Never again.

I have an Android tablet and an iPhone. Not a problem on monitoring gauges and talking on the phone. Used to hate Androids until I figured out that I was smarter than any OS. Once I figured that out and stopped comparing it to Windows or IOS, it was a no brainer, simple Simon.

Not saying it is better or worse, just different.

If your tablet has bluetooth, it will work with that.
