Egt gauge

I am planning on getting gauges for my truck I'm going to glowshift for there gauges, what one should I get they offer a 2400°F and a 1500°F meter, truck will be used for mainly daily driving use has 4 inch straight pipe exhaust on it

glow shift are garbage. Get isspro or autometer. 1500-1600 should be plenty for that truck.

Many people have had issues with Glowshift throughout the years. A bad gauge is worse than no gauge. Autometer is my brand of choice for analog gauges.

As stated, 0-1600 is an normal EGT gauge for these engines. The temp range you should be in is 200*-1250* anyway.

I just didn't know where the 7.3 ran via egt wise, I thought they were under 1500, cost is the only issue for me which is why I was leaning toward glowshift

Even the low priced line of gauges from Isspro and Autometer are considered to be better than Glowshift.

If cost is an issue, just start out buying a quality EGT gauge only. Then when funds become available, get the other gauges you want.

I had glowshift in my truck for years, didn't really have any problems. I will say that one of the gauges didn't work when I first got them, but contacted glowshift and they fixed/replaced the gauge with almost no questions asked. Now I will say like other have said there are better gauges out there, but when in a tight pinch I think glowshift work just fine. I feel they are better then nothing, and then you can slowly upgrade as you can afford it.

They are a little bit more than more gauges but is touch screen and digital and can have up to 16 sensors in one gauge

Autometer has a nice Factory Match series, except for the red needles (SD) with LED lighting.

Yes, I loved my Autometer Ford Factory Match gauges when I ran them. I now use the Infinity (nDash) exclusively though.
