I don't personally know many people running a 5R110, but for 4r's, they are who I would go to.

They built the trans in Brian Jelich's truck, David Heafner, and lots of others. Mine was built by them as well, and other than breaking hard parts, it still has the same internals that were put in it 2 years/40k miles ago. I literally beat my truck every single day too. It has never missed a beat.

And +1 to the build it to hold more power than you think you'll ever make. Im in that boat now... Upgrading parts that I should have done to begin with.

PM sent. We probably build more 5R110s than 4R100s here lately.

Thanks for the good words David. Once we get some billet in yours, you should be set.

Rudy's did run one of ours for a little. Ended up twisting the input shaft but other than that no damage.

I'm not familiar with Twisted's stuff, but if you have any specific questions on Elite's transmissions, or need pricing, shoot me a PM! I'll get you taken care of.

Exactly and I think both builders may use different converters, clutches/frictions maybe as well.

My last comment... No matter what you do, it's always going to be more expensive if you have to do it twice.

Save a little longer and get the best. That warm fuzzy is worth the extra money to me in itself.

I messed around with a few "rebuilds" and then finally bit the bullet for an elite and I couldn't be happier.
