That sucks, these laptop speakers suck too. Have you isolated it at all? Not power steering pump? ****ty deal by the sounds of it

Can you get a clip when it's not idled up?

Sure can but it's usually quiet at idle. It's left side for sure. Varies with load. Sounds like valve train to me. Glad someone chimed in! I'll try to get a clip in the morning.

That is weird. Sounds like metal rubbing. ANything loose on the back of the engine or on the driverside bank? EBP tube...?

Yeah like a loose rattle. EBP tube is good. I'm going to have to run it with the fender liner out and wheel off. To get a better idea of where it's coming from. I was hoping someone had heard this sound before.

I'd pull the valve cover to check things out before running it much more.

What do I need for parts to pull the drivers side valve cover? Do I need to remove the crossover tube and fuel cooler to get access?

Maybe its just me. But I'd find a heavy trailer and load that bish up. I have a feeling you wont find much with a visual inspection. Such an odd sound.

Have you tried running it without the belt? Just to rule out anything on the front. If its still there then id bet its valvetrain related. Possible rockers

Drove it this morning and it didn't make the sound at all.
