ESSO Mobiltrans AST extra 20???

Hey guys i was just wondering if it is a good idea or not to run Mobiltrans AST extra 20 in my tranny on my 09 F350?? I live in Canada, Alberta it get cold here in winter. I am just wondering if i could use it cause i can get it free at work here.

It doesn't meet Ford's specs for ATF, so run it at you own risk. My SWAG is that it will destroy your transmission.

What would you reccommend then for tranny fluid? I am going to change fine this weekend.

MERCON LV fluid. Read your owner's manual, it's in there.

Thanks Mark, i am going to be changing it out next week and use the Mercon LV.
