Exhaust leak

Ok, so i got an exhaust leak between the mid-pipe and the cat.. I bought a MBRP T409 exhaust a few months back and had to keep the cat for gay emissions reasons but it had a leak when i installed it and its starting to piss me off. Ford doesn't have a seal for it since the stock system is flanged and i don't want to buy a new gasket from MBRP because obviously its garbage.. Any suggestions?

If its a small leak they make some orange rtv exhaust gasket stuff. Ive used it on headers on my fox body mustang. Mustangs have a ball and socket type exhaust and sometimes the after market stuff isnt perfect. Ill put a thin coat on most exhaust fittings like this and usually never have leaks.
