Thought I had 4" exhaust pipe on my rig, turns out it measures 4 and 1/4" I just got a new tip in the mail today and it's a 4" in 7" out and wont fit over my pipe, I'm thinkin a 5" inlet would be too big any suggestions?

Maybe cut two .125" notches 180 degrees opposite of each other in tip of the exhaust pipe with a cutting wheel so that you can compress it and slide the new tip on? Or put notches in the inlet of the tip itself so it can expand and slide over the 4.25" pipe. Exhaust clamp and it'd stay put real well
