F-550 build...Work Rig.

Looking great man! So how did it do towing the KR?

The tow pig did better than I expected. The rear gear makes up for the low hp, but it was nice and smooth. I was impressed.

I'm going with the 30" under body box. The one that will hold my chains will have pieces of round exhaust pipe, 2-3" welded to the inside of the box. I do that so you can hang the hooks of the chain on the pipe to keep them organized.

Lights are a must. I'm going to do that last so I know how everything is going to sit on the bed and where to mount them. I'm really considering the 60" rigid light bar. One light for everything.

Just like the KR, that's a sweet work truck! Great ideas for it so far, and a 4x4 swap is a must! I've got a 4x4 zf6 I'll be getting rid of soon if your interested.

^^^ Yes sir. I've been looking for one. I'd like to find one used but not having much luck. I'm trying to keep this rig on a half ass budget. I always blow threw them on my KR. Wife and I are talking about having another child so my spending habits are going to be drastically reduced.
