First off, this truck has a salvage title(New Mexico).
I am just seeing if there is any interest in the truck before I do anything with it.
I'm either going to sell it, part it or "bulletproof" it and keep it.
I don't know the true reason for the salvage. At a quick glance I can tell the left front fender has been replaced. Has had paintwork on that fender, the door on that side, the hood and the passenger doors. Frame looks like it hasn't been cut up but I promise nothing.
Underneath the truck is CLEAN, it's a Southern truck and it shows. Makes me jealous of all you guys outside of the rust belt.
Truck was used to haul a trailer across the country. The company did food & beverage catering on movie sets. It was in Boston and wouldn't start. A local shop we do transmission work for towed it in, replaced the starter and the truck ran. It sat for a while as the company left the area and they bought a van. He took ownership after some time and I purchased it from him.
Truck had an injector code, a FICM code and a couple glowplug codes when we scanned it quick. It has oil in the coolant too so I would say an oil cooler is needed. Truck runs and drives, they were using it up until the starter failure.
Inside is all there and intact with an aftermarket radio. Needs a good cleaning but would clean up nice. No major rips or tears. Power rear slider does not work.
If I were to sell it I'd be asking $8,000obo. Front bumper/winch are NOT included. Truck also has AMP power steps I would be removing.
These items could be worked into a deal on top of the agreed upon sale price.
