Sorry no results yet. Been a little busy and have not been able to set up a back to back dyno test. I don't think there is really any room to open up the ports going into the head. The intake gasket and port opening are the same size. Someone would have to make a custom intake gasket to increase the port size.
I tried to come up with a way to take out the columns without opening the intake. I found that it left too much material on the side walls inside the intake. It's hard to get pictures of the inside of the intake I tried that on. I plan on cutting the top off that one too in the future and keeping the EGR port. If I can take pictures I will.
