First impressions of a non vgt on my '11 6.7

I have a midwest comp trans and I was on the fence about selling it but I may hold on to it now for obvious reasons

That was cool meeting you Brad and going to see your truck at the dyno! That was some very nice power it put down! :rockon:

Now im thinking hard about upgrading my truck! Swap the trans and be done with it and enjoy!

Truck put down 750 and 1350 on a very generous dyno

But I think I hurt the trans. I have a wicked flare up when shifting from 3rd to 4th. It only does it in that gear change but I think its on it's last leg.

Yep, sounds like the OD clutch is burnt. 4th gear and 5th gear both use that clutch. As well, 5th gear usually seems to be the next one to go. At the upper 600hp level you are at it's nothing out of the ordinary to happen.
