HTH do you get to the pass side? Pull the innner fender and DP? I'm talking about the stock donut replacement of course.

I wish those were an option when I did my SD turbo.

Just thinking I hate to do anything twice and from what I've read some go as far as taking the tranny out to get to them. The top side is the leak so is it possible to replace just these w/o breaking the seal on the lowers?

Remove trans what your kidding.

Iv done them whith the turbo still mounted. It's cake walk
I would advise removing the turbo it takes two seconds.

CAKE

I left the turb in to get them out, I'll give it a try the same way going back in. So far I only removed the pass side inner fender for this.

It would have been much easier to with the turbo out of there. You can literally have the turbo out in 15 mins, and thats including the 13 mins it takes me to find my tools.

What about reinstalling with old seals?

Its not worth the chance. Go to the local ford garage and get two big, two small and then you have enough to do the turbo to pedestal and the pedestal to the block.

Its not worth gambling in that area where leaks are common already anyway.

I probably wouldn't risk it, but if they look good coming out, then you could try it.

You can buy new o-rings pretty cheap. I can't remember where I got mine, maybe try guzzle's, diesel o-rings.com, ITP (sinister), or maybe beans.

Get viton o-rings in the following size for the turbo. You need 2 of each.

The smaller ones are -205 (0.421" ID x 0.139 thickness)and the larger ones are -211 (0.796 ID x .0139 thickness).

Got the pipes and Y back in w/o loosening the turbo or DP :D Only took about an hr and 45 min of that was wrestling the damned V-band in and holding the Y.

Unfortunately I still have a leak  Got to be the Drivers side mani, its Tick Tick Tick like once per 4 cycles.
