A buddy has an 11 with delets and running a single tune from Fleece.
He was never told what hp it was. But he's been driving it for a few weeks.

Over-all he isn't satisfied with it, his SCT tuned deletd 6.4 ran better than his current 6.7 setup.

Anyone else running a fleece tune or had their tuning on a 6.7 ?

makes sense that he isn't satisfied because everybody's 6.4 ran better than their 6.7... they make almost a hundred more horsepower and are monsters in the heart of the powerband

yes sir...

and a hundred horse tune on a 6.4 feels stronger than a 150hp tune on a 6.7 to me

a tune-only 6.4 will do 550-600 to the wheels... 570-575 is a reasonable expectation of a healthy truck IMO

whereas a tune-only 11-14 is more like 450-500 (honestly more like 550)

they just don't have the fuel on tap from the factory

Depending on the tunes, and setup some 6.4s have put down 600-624 stock fuel and turbos, MIke put down 624 with his IC pipes and GH race tune on his EC shop truck.

my extra cab did 624 on ******** race with full ******s and all my intercooler piping and intake. it doesnt feel any shy of that on the street either. strong as hell .

All I know is my truck is 65 horse stouter than a ******* tuned 6.4 on the 350 tune, on the same dyno, and 100 pounds more torque. And I can outrun him. Fwiw. But it should for the money I have in mine. If you put the same cash in a 6.4 it would be a monster.

^^^Dollar for Dollar, not a chance in hell you'll ever beat a 6.4. I really wish deepf systems never came about, that motor might have become a legend... :'(

I just sit here and giggle when people say how awesome 6.4's are compared to 6.7's. Head flow, fuel system, etc etc. The 6.7 is such a far superior platform. I've done a lot more with each than most people have dreamed of, and especially when you start to get into them, its pathetic how weak 6.4's are in certain areas.

My 15 regular cab with a 66/70.5VVT and twin pumps is an ANIMAL. It has a much better powerband than any 6.4 I've ever had in stock charger configurating, including my set up that went to DPC. Yeah, my 6.4 made a little more power/torque, but dear god, this thing drives so much nicer, has much better control of tuning, and is just a much more responsive motor, even though my 6.4 was technically a 6.6L based off stroke alone then bored .020.

Dollar for dollar comparison? 6.7's are so much cheaper component wise. I will tell every customer who asks to build a 6.4 or a 6.7, to spend the couple extra bucks on the 6.7, and run with it.
