Front cover leaking.

Sorry about the late reply. Mine ended up being the water pump leaking but I ended up replacing the front cover gasket while I was in there.

So should I go with the old if it aint broke don't fix it? Something tells me I should take the front cover off and inspect and/or replace it due to the cavitation issue these have. Has there even been a write up about how to do this with the cab on and what should be purchased and done while you are down there? I've got an appointment on Tuesday to bring it in if it is covered under my extended warranty and if not I will be doing the job myself.
