also just realized I recommended a 4" muffler to the OP who has 5" exhaust :(

big duh on my part!!!

there is a 5" equivalent of that same Donaldson muffler, but I do not know it off of the top of my head. I only know the big 51" daddy M090535

Highest flowing 5" muffler available, but it's vewy vewy qwiet

I ran Burns mufflers on my gto to keep it quiet on the streets with the procharger set-up.They were very expensive but it was worth it. Now the exhaust dumps out of the front bumper, polar opposites. Wonder if Burns has something for diesels

I think you'll be quite happy with the results. It's still loud when you roll down the windows, but the refined cabs on these trucks with the windows rolled up makes it very nice to drive with just the small resonator on the exhaust.

Is the stock exhaust really too restrictive with just a delete pipe?
