Be careful not to use bolts too long, its not good if you dimple the cover....

i found the 3/8 24 x 1/2" bolts at a bolt supplier that was open from 8-10am today. I got there at 9:45.. thats after going to 5 other stores.. but atlest if i ever need a hard to find bolt ill know where to go.. this place was a 500,000sqft warehouse with rows of racks stacked to the ceiling with nuts and bolts.. and that was 1 of 3 buildings of nuts and bolts..

Weird, lol. Mine is studs with nuts like the factory. My last trans had an upgraded TC and it was the same

Depends on the brand, PI's use bolts. Factory & some aftermarkets use studs. Same goes for Dodge converters.

I hope they fixed you up, no shop should ever let anything that bad happen, i understand mistakes as they happen all the time but damn.
