i woulda thoughy the fuels woulda been cheaper then toyos

It's been about a year ago but, I was trying to get one yokahoma when the wife smoked a pothole and the tire shop said that imported tires would know longer be cheaper then american tires. He said the government started taxing the piss out of them. I was kinda mad at the time but, glad to hear they where doin something to help american goods. Lol

Toyo tires have production facilities in Japan, USA, and China. My MTs have Made in Japan on them. I agree with a previous poster, why spend more for a product made in China?

Yeah the bad part is the more they raise the taxes on the import tires American tires go up to.

Made in China and priced higher than Toyos? Seems like a pretty risky price skimming tactic if you ask me. Especially considering how many other mud terrains are out there with proven track records. You're producing your first attempt at tires, and expecting to just outsell a proven Toyo Open Country M/T right from the get go using an even higher price point? LOL sorry for the rant, but this just seems completely illogical to me. Oh well, time will tell I guess.

my toyos I coulda sworn said made in China when I was cleaning them the other day.... but yeah being priced over toyos that's ridiculous. i'd say the only thing they have the ability to corner the market on is a 38x15.50x22....that will be their #1 seller, the rest... we'll see. but me, I'm keepin my toyos!
