Fuel tank sump

I was looking online for pictures on the sump placement. Well I drilled the hole and I didn't realize it was under the stock pick up. Am I going to have to drop the tank to remove the stock pickup tube?

My sump is directly under the factory pickup. No need to remove the pickup

Just pull the sock off the factory pickup. It should fit thru the hole you drilled.

It shouldnt. I have yhe xdp one right under the pck up with no issues, and my buddy has the beans under his with no issues. The sock does have to come off the factory pick up though, otherwise it will hit.

Yes it should slip off fairly easy.

Took the filter socket off fits great. How are you guys running the fuel lines? I have the driven diesel fuel system and its mounted inside of frame. Any other way to route it instead of going straight under the tank?

Sump to fuel pump, then to y-block, then to the front of each head.

Running it up to the frame to the pump or running the fuel line straight to the pump under the tank?

Inside frame rail because that's were I have my fuelab pump.
