Fuel/water separator 20 mins of drain flow

Hey, doing fuel filter change today, started with the separator , so far filled up 3 liters of fluid with a decent flow still going.i have no dash light on for WIF and read that most people drain a pint max, what could be the issue, do i let it keep draining?

Umm... you more than likely just draining fuel.... the first few seconds is the water, anything after that is fuel from the tank

Hey thanks for reply, I found out I was supposed to drain it close to an empty tank, mine was close to full, too much pressure I read.

It doesn't matter, it usually never stops flowing regardless.
