Hey guys ,i have an 08 f-350 CCLB had an 8" bds suspension added im running 2 1/2" spacers also infront ,(also running 38" tires ) The other day i heard a pop as i made a turn , looked didnt see anything major i saw a spot on the frame that i didnt even think it had to do with anything ,looked like a bolt missing , I stopped to visit my wife and daughter at the stables , when i was leaving i was backing up and as i was turning heard another pop and lost all steering !!! i checked as the wife turned the wheel THE whole gearbox is turning ? All 3 bolts that hold the gearbox on are broken off in the gearbox

these are stock bolts , what happened do i need a larger drop arm or what could take the pressure off , anyone have this happen ? or what to do ? -thanks for input

I have only seen that on a much older vehicle. Rust was the culprit.

Heard of and seen more sector shaft issues caused by larger tires and poor steering link geometry.
