It really depends on what he is planning on doing to it. I did have to do a little cutting on the bottom of my fenders to get my tires to clear, but it is not noticeable and still looks factory. In your case, I'm with these other guys, I'm not sure how they plan on doing it since the flares are molded to fit.

I wouldn't "not do it", but I would for sure want to understand it before they start.

I am going to be near the shop today so maybe I'll swing in and talk to the tech to ask exactly what he plans to do. They swear they do tons and it looks OEM.

Do you have a pic of the mudflaps your trying to run?

They are Gatorback Kickback. 12" for the front and 14" for the rear. Was thinking maybe just running the flaps and just sell the flares bit with the amazing the tires are sticking out I think it will really fling the rocks and mud all over the place.

I may be wrong but if you install a 3 or 4 link can you move the front axle ahead like a half inch? Also I did a leveling kit (2") 2 weeks ago with 20x10 and -19 and I clear by about 1/4" at full lock

One more thought, if you have 1/4" of clearance in you garage what happens when u get a rock in your tire or run over rocks in your drive way going into the garage? I'd say your gonna have a scrapped up roof in know time.

Wow, that's a lot of clearance gained for sure. I won't go that route because I already have enough $ invested in this truck... Once I get this dilemma over with the only other thing I will be doing is paint matching the surround around the grille and some 3m.

Thankfully that 1/4" clearance for the garage door is to the rubber seal, guess I'll have a 1/2" buffer before it gets scraped up.... Good thing my winter tires are 33's. Lol
