Checked for boost leaks, had a small one by the cold side of the intercooler. Fixed and still have the sound. Talked to Bob at diesel site he said about I may have put the thrust bearing clip in upside down. Both sides looked the same to me, is there anyway to tell?

The sound I guess really doesn't sound like metal.. sounds kinda like the turbos on Erik's first drive video on his dpc build.

I don't see how that could be the case. It only fits in one way. If you try the other way it is obviously wrong, to the point that anyone should know something is not right. Assuming you are talking about the thrust collar that is.

That's what I was thinking.. cuz I had to play with it to get it back in the backing plate. I'll get and get a video after work maybe, but I thought the wheel might be hitting but there is zero in and out shaft play and normal left and right. There are no markings on the wheel or housing.. I'm at a loss, it does sound sweet but I don't think its a normal sound.
